C&S Companies
Patti Doyle Communications directs C&S Companies’ public relations and public information campaign for the runway expansion project at T. F. Green Airport. The agency will be involved in significant stakeholder relations, press relations, and community engagement.
C&S Companies was selected by the Rhode Island Airport Corporation to design and manage a runway extension that will enable Green to remain competitive in today's complex and ever changing aviation market. This multi-year project, proposed to reach completion by 2017, encompasses a $40 million dollar plan to extend Runway 5 by 1,534 feet, and, in addition, expand Taxiway M and construct a new holding bay. The budget includes new lighting, signage, and markings, as well as the update of Green’s monitoring systems and electrical vaults required once the extension is complete.
The extension will allow Green to retain passengers who might otherwise stray to competing, out-of-state regional airports, as well as enhance the efficiency of the New England Regional Airport System.
This project marks Patti's continued involvement with the airport and the Rhode Island Airport Corporation since serving as its public relations executive in the early 1990's when the Airport Corporation was formed under former governor, Bruce Sundlun. There, she oversaw the communications campaign for the Terminal Improvement Project, which was successfully completed in 1996.
